A Uniform Image Mirror is a fun, effective tool for improving the appearance of your housekeeping staff.   Post a full-length mirror in an area where your staff will pass when they check in each morning.  Using a dry erase marker (or vinyl letters), write grooming reminders on the mirror.  You can change it up by writing in a daily focus or a positive send off.   To be sure the person’s image fits the location of the messages on the mirror, you can tape off several viewing lines based on height for staff to stand on in front of the mirror.  Help your staff form the habit of seeing what the guest sees, and soon they will be monitoring their appearance themselves.
