If you have done employee evaluations at some time, you quickly realize that those who have been with your company a decade fall under one of two categories:  those who have 10 years of experience and, sadly, those who have 1 year of experience 10 times.  The same applies to companies.  We are either getting older or we are getting better and the defining difference is continuous improvement.  If we are getting better, experience counts.
